The European Day of Languages is on the 26 September.Let's use this day to ask ourselves why we should bother learning a second or third (etc.) language.
Basically you could say that there are at least 2 different ways of explaining:
1) Knowing other people's language, it moves them and their world a little closer to you.
2) It makes your personal world a bigger place
3) ... (What's your explanation?)
